Vol. 546 No. 3

Written Answers. - School Staffing.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

395 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the need for extra remedial teachers at schools (details supplied) in County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31575/01]

I am aware the school referred to by the Deputy is the base school for a learning support teacher post which is shared with other schools in the area. I can assure the Deputy that the needs of the schools in question will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for allocation.
