75 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the number of hits received by his Department's website for the year 2001; the number of staff assigned to maintain the website; the cost of maintaining the website for 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There were 41,600 visitors to my Department's website during the eleven month period ending 30 November, 2001. The Department has one staff member assigned full-time to maintaining the website. The cost of maintenance for 2001, exclusive of staff costs, was £12,100 or 15,363.
