660 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to parliamentary Question No. 196 of 22 May 2001, he will ensure a comprehensive reply will be issued from the Eastern Regional Health Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2458/02]
Responsibility for the funding of services at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority, ERHA. My Department has again requested the ERHA to investigate the matters raised. The authority has informed my Department that a reply will issue to the Deputy today. The authority has apologised for the delay in replying to this question.
