Section 36 of the Wildlife (Amendment) Act, 2000, is yet to be commenced. This deals with the regulation of commercial shoot operators. A commitment has been made that this section will not be commenced until consultation with interested parties, which are under way at present, are completed.

It is my intention to address the implementation of the remaining sections of the Cultural Institutions Act, 1997, in the context of other priorities requiring attention in my Department.
