238 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he proposes to introduce new legislation which would allow non-EU doctors apply for full registration after two years of relevant work and training experience here; and if so, when this legislation will be introduced. [10067/02]

I have published the Medical Practitioners Amendment Bill, 2002, which will be presented to the Dáil this week. The Bill will address the issues relating to registration of doctors which have been raised by the Deputy.
