449 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the appointments made by him to boards, agencies or committees operating under the aegis of his Department from 17 April 2002 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13724/02]
My predecessor, the Minister, Deputy McDaid, made the following appointments on 23 April 2002 to the independent product management boards which will be responsible for deciding on grant applications under the tourism product development scheme under the Border midlands and west and the south and east regional operational programmes, 2000-06 under the national development plan: Product Management Board for BMW Region: John Donnelly, Chair; John Travers and Peter Coyle, business and professional appointments; Michael Guilfoyle, Department of Marine and Natural Resources representative; Niall Reddy and Ciarán Tuite, Bórd Fáilte representatives; Eugenie Deegan, Department of Tourism, Sport and Recreation representative; Gerry Finn, BMW Regional Assembly representative.
Product Management Board for south and east region; John Donnelly, Chair; John Travers and Peter Coyle, business and professional appointments; Michael Guilfoyle, Department of Marine and Natural Resources representative; Niall Reddy and Ciarán Tuite, Bórd Fáilte representative; Eugenie Deegan. I appointed Páidi Ó Sé, publican, as a member of the board of Bord Fáilte with effect from 6 June 2002.
