Jan O'Sullivan

Question:

304 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a school (details supplied) in County Limerick will be able to provide speech and language therapy for its students; the efforts being made by his Department to recruit the speech and language therapists required under his Department's responsibilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14592/02]

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Limerick region rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. Therefore my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to her directly.
