358 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the area based compensation payment of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be released instantly; if this application has been processed for payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16882/02]
The 2002 area aid application has been fully processed with an area determined for payment purposes of 43.79 hectares. He will be paid his full entitlement under the 2002 area-based compensatory allowance scheme within the next seven days.

The 2002 area aid application of the person named has been fully processed with an area determined for payment purposes of 32.82 hectares.
The plot referred to includes buildings. Therefore the Department's electronic database has not been amended to take account of the correspondence of 21 August 2002 since buildings must be excluded from land parcels recorded as eligible for area aid.
The person named will be paid his full entitlement under the 2002 area-based compensatory allowance scheme within the next seven days.
