Vol. 557 No. 5

Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Jack Wall

Question:

147 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the problems being encountered in regard to the provision of temporary pre-fabs at a school (details supplied) in County Kildare and to the problems with the existing pre-fab in regard to poor insulation which is resulting in severe hardships for the staff and pupils; if he will have the matter investigated and resolved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22933/02]

My Department recently authorised the board of management of the school in question to accept a tender for the provision of temporary accommodation. The school should use its devolved grant to deal with other urgent minor works.
