Vol. 558 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John McGuinness

Question:

364 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a number of appointments have been cancelled by the rheumatology department of St. James's Hospital, Dublin, for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if an earlier date than February 2003 can be given to this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23644/02]

The provision of services for people living in County Carlow is a matter, in the first instance, for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
