237 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if the national institute for regional and spatial analysis at NUI, Maynooth, has completed its analysis of the 2002 population census; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23983/02]

The national institute for regional and spatial analysis at NUI Maynooth has recently completed its analysis of the 2002 population census. My Department is examining the results in the context of the review of the areas in the CLÁR programme.
