275 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the reason an application under the national woodlands scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has not been dealt with; and when it will be dealt with. [24371/02]

An application under the native woodland scheme is currently being processed by my Department. Decisions on arrangements for forestry schemes will be finalised in the coming weeks in the light of the budgetary situation for 2003.
