148 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science the funding needed and available to implement the national youth work development plan; the timescale in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27016/02]
The proposals for the national youth work development plan are currently with my Department. They have been approved, in principle, by the Minister for State with responsibility for youth affairs. It is intended to seek Government approval for the publication of the plan in the near future. On the basis of approval of its publication being forthcoming, implementation of the plan will take place on an incremental basis in accordance with agreed financial provisions with the Department of Finance.
