299 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the stage the application for a new sewerage treatment plant at Milltown, County Galway, is at; the next steps of same; when the project will commence construction; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Milltown sewerage scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2002-2004 as a scheme to advance through planning. A revised preliminary report for the scheme, received from Galway County Council last week, is under examination in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
