Vol. 566 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Denis Naughten

Question:

347 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if funding will be provided to either Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, or Tullamore Regional Hospital, to cater for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12752/03]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
