Vol. 567 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John McGuinness

Question:

208 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a bed will be provided at St. James' Hospital, Dublin as a matter of urgency for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and the reasons for the delay in this urgent case. [15045/03]

The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.
