Vol. 567 No. 7

Written Answers. - Home Help Service.

John McGuinness

Question:

209 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the South Eastern Health Board will provide home help for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow as a matter of urgency; and if this person's case and circumstances will be examined in detail to determine the other assistance or support which can be given to them. [15046/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for provision of health services in the Carlow area rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
