86 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if an application under housing aid for the elderly being processed by the South-Eastern Health Board in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow will be given priority in view of the urgent need in the case and the person's state of health and age. As the Deputy will be aware, the responsibility for the provision of health services in the Carlow area rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
