102 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a green card extension will be available to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16319/03]

The work permit issued in respect of the person in question is due to expire at the end of June 2003. If another work permit is issued in respect of her at that stage she may then apply for an extension of her permission to remain in the State.
