299 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Wexford must wait 11 months to see a consultant and receive treatment for a serious medical condition, which will continue to deteriorate during this time without treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of services for people living in County Wexford is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
