Vol. 571 No. 4

Written Answers. - Parental Leave.

Michael Ring

Question:

185 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment her plans to amend the Parental Leave Act 1998, to allow for leave to be taken for a child up to the age of eight rather than five years, following a recent recommendation. [22030/03]

Responsibility for the Parental Leave Act 1998 rests with the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform. I have no function in the matter.
