Written Answers. - Rendering Plants.
My Department has licensed ten rendering plants throughout the country of which four are approved to take in fallen animals. These four are located in Counties Waterford, Cavan, Galway and Meath. The number of bovine animals taken in to the above four plants in 2003 is 173,023.
