159 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will sanction the funding required for the required remedial works on the roof of Scoil Mhuire secondary school, Clane, County Kildare, from the post primary contingency fund; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30625/03]
My Department has received an application from the school authority in regard to roof repairs and other matters.
The application is being considered in the context of the 2004 school building programme, which I intend to publish by early January at the latest. The programme will clarify what progress is planned for projects, such as that proposed for Scoil Mhuire secondary school, during 2004.
