PRIVATE BUSINESS. - LIMERICK HARBOUR BILL, 1926—FIRST AND SECOND STAGES.

Report presented from the Joint Committee on Standing Orders (Private Business), dated 2nd February, 1926, that no notice of appeal from the Report of the Examiner of Private Bills in the case of the Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926, had been received within the prescribed time, and that the said Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926, is accordingly deemed to have been read a first time in the Seanad.

I move:—"That the Bill be read a Second Time."

Question put and agreed to.

I move —"That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926, being a Bill to confer additional powers on the Limerick Harbour Commissioners for the improvement and development of the Port and Harbour of Limerick and for the construction of a new Dock, Dock Entrance, and Passage, and for the execution of certain Reclamations and Embankments, and for other purposes connected therewith, and to confer Borrowing powers, and that a Message be sent to the Dáil to inform that House of this Resolution."
