Vol. 18 No. 24

Statement by a Minister-Proposed Adjournment Debate.

Cathaoirleach

Senator The McGillycuddy has given me notice in writing that he wishes to bring forward for discussion, on the motion for the adjournment, under Standing Order 24, the statement reported in the public Press as having been made by a member of the Executive Council at Dundalk on the 27th May, to the effect that drastic action will have to be taken to replace farmers who refused to grow wheat on their land by such as will do so.

When the business on the Order Paper has been disposed of, I shall call on Senator The McGillycuddy, and the House will stand formally adjourned without question put not more than half an hour after the commencement of the discussion.
