I move:—
That the Clerk of the Seanad do send to the Minister for Local Government notice of a vacancy in the membership of Seanad Éireann occasioned by the resignation of Mr. Luke Joseph Duffy, a member elected to the Oireachtas Sub-Panel of the Industrial and Commercial Panel at the General Election for Seanad Éireann, April, 1948.
This motion indicates the procedure by which an occasional vacancy shall be filled in the Parliamentary panel.
