Vol. 110 No. 8

Order of Business.

It is proposed to order for today Nos. 1,2,3 and 4 together and also to order Nos. 5 and 6 in case time allows. It is proposed to suspend the sitting from 12.30 p.m. until 2 o'clock and also to follow the usual practice that no new item of business will be called later than 4 p.m. With regard to the question of sittings next week, there is very little to add to the small amount of information I had yesterday. The position is, as I understand it, that the Irish Steel Bill and the Appropriation Bill must be law before the end of the year. It is desirable but not essential that the Valuation Bill be law before the end of the year but, unfortunately, I have as yet no firm information as to when these Bills will pass from Dáil Éireann to Seanad Éireann.

Order of Business agreed to.
