Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 25 Jun 1986

Vol. 113 No. 11

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Michael Lynch that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to outline the progress to date in the renovation work to the Garda barracks, Oldcastle, County Meath, since the matter was raised in the House on the 20 November 1985.

I also received notice from Senator Thomas Hussey of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to sanction the extension to Lavally school, Tuam, County Galway.

I regard both matters as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Lynch's motion for today's Adjournment and it will be taken from 7.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Senator Hussey may give notice for another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
