Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 135 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Farrelly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to allocate sufficient funds in 1993 for new facilities at the out-patients clinic of Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, County Meath; and for work to commence on the upgrading of the hospital.

I have also received notice from Senator McDonagh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to allocate funds for the proposed extension to Athenry Vocational School, County Galway in order that the school will not have to turn away some first year students in September due to lack of space.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Farrelly and McDonagh as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
