Question:

720 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in reopening the dental clinic in Ballyforan, County Roscommon; if it is acceptable that parents and children have to wait nearly 12 months following the last clinic to find out the future of the facility; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware, the provision of dental services to eligible persons in County Roscommon is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board in the first instance. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to respond directly to the Deputy on the matter.
