View answerThe Commissioners of Public Works act as an agent for the Department of Education and Science in the acquisition of sites for primary schools. The requirement for a school site in County Roscommon was advertised in July 2006 and a technical assessment of the options is currently under consideration. When this process is completed negotiations will commence with the vendors of those sites deemed suitable.
