View answerThe Commissioners of Public Works have selected a preferred contractor to carry out the redevelopment of Clonark Garda Station, Co. Roscommon. A formal Letter of Intent to place a contract has recently issued to the contractor concerned. Subject to the contractor meeting a number of requirements in relation to production of certain necessary documentation, it is expected that a formal contract will be entered into within the next two weeks and that construction will commence on site shortly thereafter.
The new facility at Clonark will be completed by mid 2011.
