Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the way the acquisition of a company (details supplied) by Bord na Móna will provide a sustainable solution for its horticulture business while maintaining employment at its Kilberry plant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Bord na Móna is a commercial State company operating under the Turf Development Acts 1946 to 1998. The matters raised are operational in nature and not ones in which I, as Minister, have any function.
