504. Deputy Tom Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide an additional €25 million of funding for areas of natural constraint in 2018, as committed to in the programme for Government. [22894/17]
View answerThe Programme for a Partnership Government sets out the commitment to increase the budget for the Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) Scheme by €25m in Budget 2018. This commitment will form part of the Budget 2018 discussions, in parallel to the ongoing redesign of the scheme required by EU regulations.
