The Library & Research Service yesterday launched constituency dashboards, an interactive tool to help Oireachtas Members get accurate information about their constituencies.
The constituency dashboards provide an interactive online visualisation of Census 2016 data for each Dáil constituency. At the launch, Library & Research Service staff demonstrated how the constituency dashboards can be used to create profiles of a constituency under six themes. They also showed Members and staff how to drill down into the data, creating comparisons within constituencies between electoral districts, and how to export the data.
