Oireachtas Committee to continue consideration of petitions

The Committee is scheduled to examine petitions on the following topics tomorrow:

• Employment Appeals Tribunal (Mr John O Sullivan - Petition No. P00027/12 )    
• Policy issues within the Defence (Amendment) Act 2007 (Mr. Niall Donohoe - Petition No. P00047/12)    
• Taking the Roaccutane drug off the market (Mr Jason O'Sullivan - Petition No.  P00057/12)    

Chairman of the Committee Pádraig Mac Lochlainn says: \"Our Committee look forward to carefully considering a range of petitions received from members of the general public and how best to advance the individual concerns raised.  Committee Members continue to encourage any individual citizen with concerns around the delivery of public services to make a petition, which will be carefully considered by the Committee. There is a standard form which we request all petitioners to complete, which is available at petitions.oireachtas.ie and can be completed and submitted online, emailed or sent by post.\"

The meeting takes place tomorrow Wednesday 15 May in Committee Room 3, LH 2000 at 4 pm, commencing in private session. On considering petitions in private, public proceedings will re-commence at 5pm and can be viewed online via this link.
