Sub-Committee on Global Taxation continues hearings

The Joint sub-Committee on Global Taxation will continue its hearings on Ireland’s relationship with the global corporate/multinational taxation architecture today, Tuesday, 17th June 2014.

Sub-Committee Chairman Ciarán Lynch TD said: “Today, as part of hearings, the Sub-Committee will meet with Professor Jim Stewart, Associate Professor in Finance, Trinity College Dublin and Cora O’ Brien, Policy Director, Irish Tax Institute for an assessment of the various measures of the effective rate of corporation tax in Ireland. Our meeting is an opportunity to get a variety of perspectives on how our tax infrastructure works in an international context.”

This meeting will start in Committee Room 1 at 2pm on Tuesday, 17th June 2014.
