Oireachtas Committee meeting with Ireland’s Future resumes

The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will hear again from representatives from ‘Ireland’s Future’ at a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 June in Leinster House, Committee Room 3 at 9:30 am.

Speaking before the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Fergus O’Dowd TD said: “ ‘Ireland’s Future’ was established to advocate, promote, and to have those very important discussions about Ireland’s future, including the possibility and viability of new constitutional arrangements on the Island of Ireland.”

The Cathaoirleach added: “The Committee looks forward to continuing its conversation with ‘Ireland’s Future’ and resuming the debate on how a possible new Ireland is developing and progressing and what challenges do they foresee post-Brexit.”
