Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform and Taoiseach to discuss general banking matters

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 16 June, to discuss general banking matters.

The meeting at 12.30pm in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House will hear from independent witnesses Cormac Butler, Tony Lawlor and Shane Kavanagh.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy John McGuinness said: “The Committee welcomes the opportunity to engage with Mr Butler, Mr Lawlor and Mr Kavanagh and we look forward to a wide-ranging discussions on banking matters, including issues such as EBS tied agents and the impact of the tracker mortgage issue on individuals.”

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform and Taoiseach has 13 Members, nine from the Dáil and four from the Seanad.
