The Joint Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media chaired by Deputy Niamh Smyth will meet tomorrow, Wednesday 14th September 2022.
The Committee will hear from Catherine Martin TD, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media on the widely-anticipated final report of the Future of Media Commission.
Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Niamh Smyth TD said “with the publication in July of the report of the Future of Media Commission, tomorrow’s meeting is the first opportunity for this Committee to speak in-depth with Minister Martin about the recommendations in the report and what she and the Department have planned in order to advance their implementation.”
The meeting in Committee Room 3 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
The Joint Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
