Leinster House will open its doors to the public for Culture Night 2022 as part of the nationwide event, which takes place across the country tomorrow, Friday 23rd September

From 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm, visitors will be given exceptional access to the Irish Parliament building.

Irish Sign Language (ISL) and Irish language tours alongside English language guided tours will be provided on the night, which will give visitors the chance to see the historic Dáil and Seanad chambers. This year the Seanad 100 Exhibition in the Library Reading Room is part of the Tour.

Visitors will also be able to view the historic art on display throughout the building as they walk through the corridors of Leinster House.

Musical entertainment will be provided on the night by members of Brú Ború Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann, Rathfarnham Ukulele Group, Birth of a Nation, Loreto Primary School Choir, Rathfarnham, Ukrainian Crisis Centre Ireland.

Leinster House is one of the most culturally and socially significant buildings in the country and opening the doors of the Parliament plays a vital part in promoting civic engagement between the public and their political system.

As such, the Houses of the Oireachtas Service is delighted take part in Culture Night and made approximately 600 tickets available to the public for the event.

While the tours are free, please note that this is a ticketed event and tickets are now sold out.

Culture Night is an annual, nationwide event in which arts and cultural organisations and venues of all shapes and sizes, including the National Cultural Institutions, extend their opening hours to allow for increased access to the public.
