Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach to discuss Defective Block Redress with Banking and Insurance Focus Group

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 5 July, to discuss Defective Block Redress with representatives from Banking and Insurance Focus Group.

Ahead of the meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy John McGuinness said: “The Joint Committee will engage with representatives of the Banking and Insurance Focus Group to discuss the Concrete Block Redress Scheme. The Committee welcomes the ongoing discussions that the Focus Group has had with the Banking Sector and the Minister for Finance, and looks forward to hearing the views of the Focus Group on the progress of the redress scheme, outstanding matters to be resolved and matters relating to the banking and insurance sector.”

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
