Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage to discuss recent and future developments in An Bord Pleanála

The meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House will hear from Oonagh Buckley, Interim Chairperson of An Bord Pleanála; Chris McGarry, Deputy Chairperson; and Brid Hill, Chief Officer.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Steven Matthews said: “The Committee welcomes this engagement with An Bord Pleanála regarding current and future developments at the planning appeals body, including matters of considerable public concern. Members look forward to discussing staffing issues, current workload, judicial reviews of An Bord Pleanála decisions and related matters with Ms Buckley and her colleagues.”

The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
