Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine to discuss Governance Issues in Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Jackie Cahill said: “Last month, the CEO of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board made a number of disclosures before the Committee of Public Accounts in relation to Corporate Governance in the organisation. Oversight of the IHRB, including governance matters, is through Horseracing Ireland, which falls under the remit of this Committee. Members look forward to discussing these issues and related governance matters with Mr O’Loughlin and his colleagues.”

The Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
