Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach to meet for detailed scrutiny of Illegal Israeli Settlements Divestment Bill 2023

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 20 March, for detailed scrutiny of the Illegal Israeli Settlements Divestment Bill 2023, a Private Members’ Bill sponsored by Deputy John Brady.

The meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House will be split into two sessions to hear from:

  • 1.30pm-3pm – Officials from the Department of Finance and representatives from the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA);

  • 3pm-4.30pm – John Brady TD; and representatives from Sadaka and the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach, chaired by Deputy John McGuinness, has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
