The Committee on Budgetary Oversight will meet today, Wednesday 17th April for engagement on the indexation of the Taxation and Social Protection System with representatives from Social Justice Ireland and The Nevin Economic Research Institute at 5:30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.
Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Barry Cowen TD said “Our meeting this evening will discuss the recommendations contained in the Report we published on the Indexation of the Taxation and Social Protection System. We will look to the representatives attending for insight and updates on the recommendations we put forward in the Report which can be read in full here.”
