Laying a document
You need to register to use the Documents Laid application. A new version launched in December 2020; if you registered before that date you will need to register again. Here is a quick guide to registration.
Documents Laid are documents that are formally submitted to the Houses of the Oireachtas in order to support the democratic process. They include reports of Oireachtas committees, Government Departments, State boards and statutory bodies. The Library & Research Service manages the process by which documents are laid before parliament.
Recent Documents Laid
Recent Documents Laid are available on this page for a limited time. All documents laid are presented to parliament on the first sitting day after they are laid. These documents remain on this page for at least 7 calendar days after their first sitting day. Documents that are open to a motion to annul remain on this page until the date they can be annulled (ie either 7, 10 or 21 sitting days of the relevant House).
Documents pertaining to the employment of special advisors are not publicly available due to GDPR. Contact the laying body for access.
