The new Documents Laid application makes it easier to lay documents before Parliament and track their progress through the Houses of the Oireachtas.

Lay a document before the Houses of the Oireachtas
To use our new Documents Laid application, you first need to register via the Oireachtas Portal, even if you were registered with the old system.

Lay a document in paper format
We encourage people to use our online Documents Laid application but you can also lay a document in paper format. To do so, carefully complete the Documents Laid cover sheet and submit it with six copies of the document to the Oireachtas Library & Research Service.
Documents Laid Open Data | 1922-2019
The Oireachtas Library has published an open metadata dataset of all the documents laid before the Houses since 1922. The dataset was analysed by Professor Derek Greene, a funded investigator at the SFI Insight Centre for Data Analytics. Highlights of this analysis are presented here.
