Vol. 85 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wexford Military Service Pension

asked the Minister for Defence if he will say why the payment of the military service pension, payable to James Rowe, Trimmur, Tagoat, County Wexford, has been stopped, and whether it is proposed now to restore it and to pay Mr. Rowe the arrears withheld from him.

Payment of the military service pension awarded to Mr. James Rowe, Trimmur, Tagoat, County Wexford, has been suspended because he has been overpaid by reason of his failure to disclose that he has for a number of years past been in receipt of public moneys, as an employee of a local authority.

Payment will be resumed when the amount overpaid has been recovered.
