The number of horses exported from Eire during the year 1938, the last year for which returns have been published, was 10,251. As the Deputy will have observed, subsequent to August, 1939, a summary only of the value of imports and exports has been issued. For reasons of public policy it has been decided not to publish for the present more details than are given in this summary.
